A "flowering" Anubia

All Anubias (pure breed plants, at least) come - as far as I know – from Western Africa, where they thrive in subdued lighting along the river and creeks flowing in the forests. Maybe that’s why my plants are doing well in my swamp tank!!!

The whole tank (upper) while the surface (once the lid has been lifted) is pictured below.

Let’s get a closer look at the "flower" (I know the name flower isn’t that good but forgive me – my English isn’t good enough!). The flowering Anubias is SUPPOSED to be an Anubia barteri "dwarf" …

Two different shots of the flower. These pics should allow you to appreciate the subdued environment where the "flower" blossomed! All the leaves in the background are BELOW the water line.
