MCH Meeting - A Chronicle, by George /3

Frank had planned a visit to Verduijn Cichlids in Holland, something long awaited by the whole team. After driving all the way to Zevenhuizen (a town close to Rotterdam - after Rotterdam to be more precise) we finally arrived in a very nice place where Verduijn cichlids is located.

From left to right: John Reclos, Francesco Zezza (with his miniature digital camera) and Frank Panis. Definitely you don't see such an entrance in a petshop very often.
A place full of fish !

When you get in the shop you are immediately surprised by a huge tank which houses two redtail catfish (sized more than 1 meter) in a tank also housing mbuna which escaped the huge predators. When you see this kind of fish you are definitely impressed. Our first reaction (with Francesco) was to start measuring the tank and make wishes. Perhaps, sometime .. Really impressive.

A very warm welcome by the stuff there. They offered us coffee in the special reception room and never refused to answer our questions or show us a specific species. Organization was the first impression which came in our minds.
