| Buscando mojarras … Looking for cichlids, my Mexican Diary - II by Francesco Zezza Not even the actual use of this place (religious area? other?) is known! All in all, NOTHING is known, but the place IS breathtaking, and the sun is warming me. WOW! I feel good!!!
Teotihuacan: hidden treasures, a nice detail of the interior of one of the buildings. On the way back we have a stop for a quick rest, buy some souvenirs and enjoy some – actually quite a lot - of Mexican drinks (Tequila, Pulque. Metxcal and so on …) I nearly got drunk!!!
Stefania enjoying a drink. 15.04.02: On the go from Mexico City to San Luis Potosì to meet JMAA, we meet, at the airport, Paolo Salvagiani (MCH contributors from Italy, btw), his wife Sabrina, and Luca e Sandra (friend of our and AIC members). We’re going to meet nice people, collect cichlids, see cacti, orchids and much much more. Then we land
San Luis Potosì: at the arrival, the man – at center – with the white shirt is Juan Miguel Artigas Azas on the Mexican Hingland, in the middle of the “Land of Cacti”, in the very mexican desert!!! We get out of the plane and it’s raining, or better … it’s pouring!!! Well, it actually happened in the evening!
San Luis Potosì: a detail – shot, on purpose, in old fashoined sepia colour – of the city. |
