| Side Effects Flowering Cacti and other Succulents Francesco and Stefania, Rome, Italy Nothing more, nothing less …Flowers shown for the pride of showing them! I don’t even know the real name of a few of the plants, and in some cases no name AT ALL is available. But this time, I won’t consider it that much of a pity. I hope you’ll appreciate the pics. BTW: it may even be that a few of the names are partially or completely wrong! Aeonium sp. (species unknown).
This is the first time ever that I have gotten flowers from this plant (it is likely that the pictured specimen is Aeonium arboreum). Unknown beauty.
...but REALLY nice, to me, at least … Mammillaria sp.
The seed of this plant (oddly enough, at least here in Italy!) has been "blown" into our garden by wind! A nice present, isn’t it? Opuntia sp. These pics (Opuntia) were shot in the Rocky Garden I told you about ages ago …
Lots of yellow, bright flowers (up).
Going closer (up)
