Petros and Helen had learned a lot of hard to find information about this breed, got highly impressed and they started searching to find female animals. Their desire to keep and to conserve the ancient and rear breed was inevitable.

Time by time and  with lot of asking and searching, they finally obtained Sterope, Danae and Iole.

Three, pure, extremely beautiful Peneian mares. On 27th of December of 2001 they got their very own pure Peneian foal, Idomeneus, son of the stallion Sirocco and the mare Sterope.
