3. The installation
I started to get impatient to get
this tank cycled and stocked with fish, but needed to wait a bit though.
I was very ambitious and wanted to integrate this tank seamlessly into
our kitchen interior, what included a closed base and a hood that
reached to the ceiling. I'm not going to tell what difficulties I faced
this time, but let's say I did a remarkable job for an amateur handyman.
The whole interior of the aquarium is also covered with coated plywood
boards to prevent that humidity would escape and cause mildew throughout
the kitchen ceiling!
Gluing the windows... I'm starting to smell water...

The tank completely built in! The toy shelf was
grabbed by the kids without hesitation!
