The ABCV Tanganyika show

Small, cosy, interesting, Tanganyika. That were the keywords that characterized the show that the Tanganyika group presented in their club-café "Ons Huis" in Schoten, Belgium. These nice aquarists organized this lovely event from Sept 30 until Oct 02 2005, and this sweetened the pill of having to return early from our Vichy 2005 MCH meeting quite a bit. Seeing all these devoted people back and talking again to them was a real joy. We exchanged experiences about breeding Tanganyika cichlids, and they also showed much interest in the spawning of my calvus. I even got some additional inside tips too about breeding them. I also spent a lot of time to look at all eight tanks. I photographed the most interested highlights in them that can be seen in the pages below. Yes, I liked this event very very much. I know the hard labour that always goes into the organization of such a show, and I respect that a lot. I really hope that many people visited this splendid show and enjoyed it like I did.
