This
photo shows some Cynotilapia mbamba fry, a very common sight in the
mbuna tank. Since I am not interested in removing the females, they
release in the tank and there are many survivors from each brood.
This results in a mix of C.mbamba of different ages and sizes. Every
year, the older fish are donated or sold so the new fish will have a
chance to grow and spawn.
