One of my L059 Ancistrus. You can clearly see the bristles - perhaps a male(?). Click on the picture to see the high resolution image. Photo: G.J.Reclos /MCH

This is a real beauty. Small, peaceful and a dedicated algae eater. What else can one ask for? Well, actually I did ask for something more. A color combination to match that of my Paratilapia polleni. Since my 1300 liter tank is being completely renewed I thought that I could ask for more than the usual. With a final size of 10 cm they are really cute little fellows and they are really had workers. I may not see them in the tank during the day but I can see the results of their work in the morning. Being so small they are not able to cope with the large amount of algae which is mostly due to overfeeding my P.polleni, so I am thinking of adding another 5-6 of them to the 4 I already have. shot of my plecostomus already sized 10 cm and growing fast.
