Preferred water parameters : pH :6.0-7.0 (acidic to neutral) GH :0-5 (soft - very soft) KH :0-6 The fish will reach a final total length of 30-40 cm. Social behavior : usually peaceful with other nocturnal fishes. Sexual differences : the female is usually larger. There is also an anal & caudal fin difference but only for experts. Feeding needs : carnivorous. Recommended tankmates : large, non aggressive fishes. Aquarium size :100+ lt. Origin : East Africa. The specimen in the photo was sized about 12 cm.
