Attains a total length of 55 cm, which comes with all the pros and cons of triggers. A menace when adult, it will attack tankmates while it feeds on corals and invertebrates making it an unsuitable species for reef tanks. A 200 gal (700 L) tank is the absolute minimum for a single species.
